DEBATE
PUBLIC MEETING and DEBATE
HOSTED BY UKIP, SCOTLAND, GLASGOW BRANCH
"This meeting believes there is no evidence of catastrophic warming remotely as catastrophic as the regulations, taxes and other costs imposed to ameliorate it".
In the form of a public debate with 3 speakers a side.
On the upper floor of Yates. 134-136 West George Street
Tuesday 30th October 7 00 for a 7.30 start.
To be recorded & broadcast on Youtube
Andrew Montford, author of The Hockey Stick Illusion: Climategate and the Corruption of Science and of Bishop Hill one of the most respected climate sceptic blogs worldwide has agreed to be a speaker. Patrick Harvie, leader of the Scottish Green Party, has absolutely declined to engage in such debate. Most politicians in a democracy are enthusiastic about putting forward their views. However this may be tactically wise since he is a regular fixture on the state broadcasting corporation, who are nominally legally required under their Charter to show "balance" but censor and propagandise against scientific scepticism at every opportunity. It is impossible to see how any "environmental" claims could have gained any traction so long as their proponents refused to propose them in any open forum, were it not for unstinting promotion by the BBC and other government propaganda quangos. Other speakers to be announced
