SPACE LAUNCH PICTURES

Here are some pictures from a Space-X satellite launch on June 18th.

Space development is clearly happening outside of direct government control.

Did you see the news today that an anti-matter atom was created (as opposed to single particles which are increasingly easy to do). Once the still large technical problems are overcome, controlled anti-matter energy production offers huge possibilities.

You have to put all the energy into creating the particle in the first place so it is a storage nedium rather than an energy source. However it would make a perfect fuel for an intersteller ship because the "rocketfuel" would be so light. Probably some time before we need that but here's hoping.
